PokerStars

There are big names at the PokerStars APPT Macau, and it’s a fierce battle at the poker tables. Every player does his or her best job to read and play their cards as well as possible, the main goal of all the players at the table is to make the money in the tournament but unfortunately not all players will be able to fulfill their goal in the tournament.

The second day started at the APPT Macau with one hundred and twenty five players, among those PokerStars had a good representation with names such as the 2003 WSOP Champion and PokerStars Pro Chris Moneymaker, the third place finisher at the 2007 WSOP main event and PokerStars Pro Raymond Rahme, PokerStars.net Team Asia pro Tae Jun Noh and the 2008 Asian Pacific Poker Tour Manila winner Van Marcus. There were also PokerStars satellite winners and PokerStars qualifiers. Seventy players were eliminated during day 1B.

Unfortunately for Chris Moneymaker his A-4 did not hold up against Darkhan Botabayev pocket queens after seing a board that was King high. PokerStars pro Raymond Rahme was also eliminated on day 1B.

Other PokerStars qualifiers and pros that were eliminated on day 1B were: Andrew Chen, Aaron Benton, Tae Jun Noh, Mike Marvanek, Daniel Nielsen and Julian Powell.
