Playing poker in one of the oldest European Poker tournament has its benefits, not the least of which is the history and tradition surrounding the event and its past winners. The Irish Open has long since attracted the biggest names on the European poker circuit, no doubt due to the tournament’s prestige and prize money – the winner of the event will take home more than $1 million. In addition, players from all over the world flock to The Irish Open because it’s held in the city of Dublin which is known for its cultural atmosphere and was voted friendliest city in Europe in 2007 and 2009.
The Irish Open will start on March 31st and run through April 6th, 2010.
