Poker News

Titan Poker might not have the North American pedigree of PokerStars and Full Tilt Poker, but Europe’s largest site actually has the second juiciest Sunday Major of the weekend, behind only the Sunday Million. The $1 Million Guaranteed has a $535 buy-in, so the price is a little steeper than most majors, but with normally only 1500 entrants, it’s a better bang for your tournament poker buck.

This past weekend, MantaRayss outlasted a 1598 player field in Titan Poker’s $1 Million Guaranteed, earning himself a startling $200K in the process. Losing the heads-up battle was orbbarNN, who settled for $104K, while SirShipAlot took $74K for third. The rest of the final table was rounded out by Adrian900123 ($60K), bearbeer12345 ($50K), ARAKASs ($40K), michsr ($30K), bugse ($20K), boulipok ($13K), and MEGAOLGATOR ($10K).

In addition to next Sunday’s $1 Million Guarantee, Titan Poker has a great slate of weekly tournaments leading up to the weekend. During the week at 7pm GMT Titan Poker hosts a $30 freeze-out event, and then 45 minutes later (from Monday-Thursday) there’s also a $50 $50K Guaranteed rebuy event. For high-rollers, each night of the week features a different event at 8:45 GMT: on  Mondays a $40,000 GP freeze-out ($500+30), on Tuesdays a $40,000 GP rebuys ($100+9), on Wednesdays a $20,000 GP rebuys ($100+9), on Thursdays a $30,000 GP rebuys ($200+15), and on Fridays another freeze-out, this time a $20,000 GP Double Stack ($300+20).
