Demonstrating the worldwide nature of poker – and attempting to step further into a market that is still growing – Titan Poker on Thursday announced that their online poker offerings will now be available in Dutch.

As a part of the iPoker Network – the third largest poker network in the highly competitive online poker industry, according to PokerScout – Titan Poker previously offered their software in English, French, German, Italian, Spanish, Polish, Swedish, Norwegian, Danish, Finnish and Russian. By adding in the Dutch language, Titan Poker now offers its site in twelve different languages and is expecting a huge growth of its player activity in the Netherlands as the Dutch market is considered one of the fastest growing segments in the online world of poker.

When a player downloads the Titan Poker software, they are given the option to choose the language of their software. Players can then play poker with international opponents while viewing menus and information in their native language. In addition to providing language specific sites, Titan Poker also provides multi-lingual support services including email responses and online chat support.

While they do not accept American action, Titan Poker has been able to steadily drive towards the top of the online poker world. Online poker players from around the world have flocked to the site and made it the third largest poker room in the game today, behind only PokerStars and Full Tilt Poker and ahead of Party Poker. Part of the reason for this is the wealth of promotions that the site offers.

The jewel in the crown of Titan Poker’s offerings is the European Championship of Online Poker (ECOOP IV). This year’s schedule of tournaments will kick off on May 25th and, over the next fortnight, $4,550,000 in guaranteed prize pools will be offered to players. The ECOOP IV at Titan Poker will not just focus on No Limit Texas Hold’em, however; tournaments as diverse as Pot Limit Omaha and its High/Low variation, Limit Hold’em and Seven Card Stud dot the schedule of events. While it is set to start on May 25th, the first satellites to the tournament schedule are already up and running.

Beginning this month, Titan Poker will also be offering its players their opportunity to win a seat at the 2009 World Series of Poker in Las Vegas. Sit and go satellites start on March 20th and other satellite events will begin during the month of April. In addition to the WSOP, Titan Poker offers satellite events for other tournaments such as the Grosvenor UK Poker Tour and the 2009 Irish Open.
