We are half way through UBOC5 now and had some exciting results so far with hundreds of thousands of dollars at stake.
Event #1 was a $320 No Limit Hold’em event with a prize pool of $243,810. The tournament was won by “PBDRUNKS” for $54,759. UB.com came close to having a sponsored pro at the final table when Matt Graham came close with a final table bubble 10th place for $2,681.
Event #2 was a $267 mix game of Pot Limit Omaha and Pot Limit Hold’em with a prize pool of $103,750. The tournament was won by “JOES2828” for $28,012.
Event #3 was a $320 4max No Limit Hold’em event with a prize pool of $107,700. The tournament was won by “ANTESVANTE” for $29,079.
Event #4 was a $162 Sniper No Limit Hold’em event with a prize pool of $100,000 and an additional $14,640 in bounties which were given out as $20 prizes to a player every time they eliminated someone. The tournament was won by “DOUGTHEASAIN” for $23,350.
Event #5 was a $1050 heads-up No Limit Hold’em event with a prize pool of $147,000. The tournament was won by “THEBRIMMER” for $39,690. UB.com had two sponsored pros that had very deep runs with Mark “Poker H0” Kroon coming 4th and Mark Seif finishing 7th.
Event #6 was a $215 turbo No Limit Hold’em event with one re-buy. The event had 356 entrants and 92 re-buys which created a prize pool of $89,600 leaving UB to cover the overlay of $10,400 to make the guaranteed $100,000. The tournament was won by “ACEGIRL123” for $25,000
Event #7 was a $215 Pot Limit Omaha event with one re-buy and one add-on. The tournament had 246 entrants with 181 re-buys and 160 add-ons creating a prize pool of $117,400. The tournament was won by “ALLRGCTONUTS” for $30,524.
Event #8 was a $1,050 6max No Limit Hold’em event with a prize pool of $583,000 the biggest we have seen for the series so far. The tournament was won by “DUHDUHDAISY” for $134,090.
Event #9 was a $215 No Limit Hold’em event with a guaranteed prize pool of $200,000. With 781 entrants UB put in the additional $43,800 to meet the guarantee. The tournament was won by “TRACILORDS” for $46,500.
Event #10 was a $320 Pot Limit Omaha Eight or Better event with a guaranteed prize pool of $100,000. With 294 entrants UB put in the additional $11,800 to meet the guarantee. The tournament was won by “JEFFGRESSARD” for $26,000.
