After being in the market for over 10 years, Ultimate Bet is slowly trying to change their image. UB wants to reach more people world wide and to give prospective players additional motivation to sign-up, they have added a variety of new tournaments to their schedule. In addition, UB has also improved the structures of their tournaments – both new and old – to better suit the wishes of their customers.
Before we head into the weekend slate, UB will host a $50 $15K re-buy tourney tonight at 7 pm, but the biggest tournament of the day is a knockout event with a $25K prize pool on the line. The day will close with a $30 $15K re-buy tourney.
New to Saturday’s schedule is a $50K deep stack event that is scheduled to start at 2:55pm, only thirty five minutes after a $150 $15K Pot Limit Omaha 8 deep stack event starts. The next two tournaments after that will allow re-buys and each one will have a guaranteed prize pool of $15K.
Sunday, always the juiciest day of the weekend, will kick-off with a $100K guaranteed at 2pm, followed by the biggest tournament of the week: the Ultimate Bet $200K guarantee. At 9 pm players will get to participate in a $40K knockout tournament.
