A recently announced promotion will have all Ultimate Bet and Absolute Poker players fighting their way to the top in one of the three No Limit Hold’em tournaments that will award a package to the Super Bowl, worth $12K. There will be a total of three packages at stake and only one package will be awarded per tournament. The tournaments will be held on January 6th, 13th and the 20th at 9:30 pm ET.
Each package will include two tickets to the Super Bowl XLIV, two thousand dollars for traveling expenses, four nights accommodation at the Bold New Eden Roc, limousine transportation to and from the stadium, dinner at one of the top restaurants in Miami, and VIP treatment and table service at one of the best Miami nightclubs.
Players will have the option of buy-in directly into the tournaments for $215 or they could also enter one of the many satellite events that will be running around the clock for only $3.
In other Ultimate Bet news, the newest member of their team is Eric Baldwin. The 26 year old had a great year in ’09, with earnings that exceeded $1.5 million. Baldwin won a bracelet at the ’09 WSOP along with the $521K prize. He also won over $600K at other live events during the year. He managed to make seventeen final tables during the past year, and one of those performances got him third place at the Aruba Poker Classic for a $126K prize.
