Cake Poker has been experiencing connectivity problems over the past few days, and although they have since identified the problem, it has taken them several days to come up with a proper solution. A new version of their software was released and new hardware was implemented as part of the resolution.
Due to the fact that the issues basically took down the Cake Poker software, the re-launching of the tournaments will be done in steps to enable Cake to test out the network properly. By this evening, everything should be back to normal at Cake Poker.
Management at Cake Poker wants all their players to report any glitch or problem they have with their software. Due to the big upgrade, their platform could still have some problems and Cake Poker is ready to solve them as quickly as possible. Management also made the announcement that Cake Poker players who are affected in any way by the new software should contact customer service, who will compensate players adequately.
As soon as the new software and hardware passes all the tests, Cake Poker will be launching a variety of promotions and giveaways to compensate all their players for the troubles over the course of the last week.
