Eleven years after capturing the World Series of Poker Main Event title, Joe McKeehen added another marquee result to his résumé on August 12, taking down the $5,300 Seminole Hard Rock Poker Open Championship event in Hollywood, Florida for $462,600. The 673-entry field generated a $3,262,704 prize pool, according to PokerNews, making it one of the larger prize pools of the series.
McKeehen’s path to the title ran through a final table that included Loni Hui and Darren Rabinowitz, with Rabinowitz described by PokerNews as fresh off a WSOP bracelet win. The decisive hand came when McKeehen’s pocket queens held against Hui’s pocket eights, sending Hui to the rail in third place for $250,000. David Greufe, who fell heads-up, collected $390,804 as the runner-up.
The Championship result capped a series that produced some notable multi-event performances. PokerNews reported that three players won four events apiece during the festival — a feat the outlet described as unprecedented within a single SHRP series. Yuval Bronshtein was among them, taking the $800 Deep Stack Big O on August 10 for $18,432 and the $600 T.O.E. event on August 11 for $9,535. PokerNews also reported that Bronshtein’s victories moved him to second place all-time in SHRP titles with 18. Jean Laurent matched the four-win milestone as well. Raminder Singh reached the four-title mark first during the series and, according to PokerNews, holds the all-time record with 20 SHRP titles.
Other notable results from the festival included Justin Zaki winning the $25,400 Big 4 High Roller — Event #56 — for $391,550 from a 40-entry field on August 10, and Mehmet Siginc taking the $3,000 Big 4 Deep Stack No-Limit Hold’em for $92,017 via a three-way chop. PokerNews reported that McKeehen’s recorded tournament earnings now exceed $22 million on the Hendon Mob database.
South Florida’s Robert Mizrachi also made his presence felt across the series, winning the $600 Deep Stack Big O on July 29 for $15,605. PokerNews described Mizrachi as a five-time WSOP bracelet winner who cashed 13 times at the 2026 WSOP and reached two final tables, including a third-place finish in the $3,000 Pot-Limit Omaha 6-Handed event for $185,282.
